Does ClipNeat upload my file?+
No file upload is required in the normal local workflow. Processing libraries or a small model may be downloaded into your browser when a feature needs them.
Why can results vary by browser?+
WebCodecs exposes the codecs available on your specific browser and device. ClipNeat adds local encoder fallbacks where practical, but not every codec exists everywhere.
Why is there a 500 MB limit?+
Large and 4K media can consume substantial browser memory. The limit protects the local experience while we keep the free path serverless.
